Well worth the money!

Switched from boar to this badger brush, and wow! What a difference! The brush lathered my shave soaps/creams much faster than the boar brush, feels MUCH better on my face (so much softer) and I was able to use less soap/cream. Definitely worth the money! The handle is actually beefier than it looks on the picture which makes it nice to hold with wet hands and I was impressed there were no molding lines running anywhere on the brush handle - it's completely smooth. Very good finish. The stand looks like some of the acrylic ones I've seen selling for $6. Overall, a great value and would recommend it to anyone!

After years of wet shaving with much more expensive brushes, I came across this Parker and gave it a try. It stands up to any of my previous brushes in quality and the soft bristles, which require very little soap. The end result is a luxurious shaving experience. I highly recommend this product to veteran or first-time wet shavers!
So good it is rediculous - A steal

This brush is so good with my Toms of Maine shaving cream that I have to wonder how shaving brushes like this one are not used by ever single person that shaves.
The lather made is unbelievable. A little of the shave soap/cream in my shave soap bowl and this brush creates a lather is huge, luxurious and can't be matched without a brush. The brush applies the lather perfectly and my beard is softened and the razor just glides effortlessly. I have *NEVER* had such great shaves. This brush is a must. I have other brushes, but honestly this one is just super and the price makes it a steal. It has very soft bristles and the quality and density of the bristles is first rate. The stand that it comes with is basic, but all that is needed to hang the brush so that it dries correctly and lasts.
It amazes me that companies have marketed cheap shaving creams in dispenser cans that simply are not even comparable to a good soap that is lathered and applied with a quality brush like this one. My advise is to buy this brush, a good soap and mug or bowl for the soap and create and apply the lather with a brush. Preparing your face for a shave with this type of regimen is critical for a great shave. I'm thrilled with this shave brush and the price for it is a steal. |
Great price! Good quality

If you want a fancy badger brush than you should probably look elsewhere, but for this price the quality is very good. The bristles are quite soft, and they do not fall out easily after the first few uses. This is my first badger brush so I have nothing to compare it to, but I really love this thing, with a very small and cheap plastic stand, because it works and gives me a better shave then I thought was possible!

At last, a brush that does not shed like a long-haired dog. This is a very good brush and makes shaving almost enjoyable again. I would recommend it and I would buy another.
One of my favorites

I have used many shaving brushes over the past years. This particular brush has some extraordinary features. I've been using it for about 5 months now.
This brush has remained as plush and thick to date as on day 1. It lost a couple of bristles on the first day and that's been it. It has held up gallantly. It has been remarkable in this aspect of performance.
The brush is lush. Thick, Thick, Thick.. While being super thick, this burhs is really nice and soft. I've had brushes that feel like pine needles. This brush is soft, but not too soft. It is just wonderful in this catagory.
The brush creates the proper mix. I've used it with various shave soaps and it really creates a nice thick shave lather. The brush holds a tremendous amount of water so it can generate enough lather in one pass of lathering to coat my face for multiple shave passes!
When done, I simply rinse the brush, shake dry and return it to the stand. I've seen others charge several dollars (6 dollars) for the free stand this vendor supplied as a freebee with the brush.

First Use - NICE!

This is my first badger bristle brush, I've been using a boar bristle brush for several years. I've used this Parker brush three times now, and the difference really is amazing. It holds lather much better than the boar bristle, and it's softer, too. I'd read some reviews that badger bristle is stiff - not this one. Out of the box I did notice a slight odor, nothing overpowering, and assume it will go away with use. After three uses the odor is practically gone, smelling soap on it now. It seems to be well made, no bristle loss at all.
I highly recommend this brush.
