I have been using this product for three years. It really does help improve the appearance of your skin. The scent is very light and definitely not overpowering. It has the kind of scent that you can wear during those hot, summer days. You can also get an unscented version of this product. This shave balm will work whether you use a regular blade razor or an electric razor.

This is a great value.....it really makes the ladies ask what you are wearing....ask my girlfriend...lol.....anyways, be careful not to put this one on RIGHT AFTER SHAVING !

It says Mild, but BEWARE!!!

It will burn for a few minutes....wait for about 10-20 min......or slap some on even when not shaving......better than all of those balms out there ( Gilette, etc.)

Can't Stand the Scent

The Nivea face wash, face scrub, and protective face lotion all have a mild scent. This mild version of the balm has a strong, overpowering scent that reminded me of Old Spice or Speed Stick deodorant. I now have a bottle that has been used once, and won't be touched again.

The subdued scent of the other Nivea for Men products is not a problem. I'm tempted to try the sensitive skin unscented version of the balm.
